There has been speculations and rumours over the past few weeks that “Not Fair” would be the second single taken from Lily’s new album “It’s Not Me, It’s You” but Radio 1 confirmed earlier on in the day that the rumours were true and that “Not Fair” is going to be the second track to get a release.

Also, “It’s Not Me, It’s You” is now available for download and is sitting on your local store’s shelves as of today! I received the album in the post this morning and it was completely worth the wait and it’s absolutely amazing. After receiving the album, I can now review it. I’m gonna start off by saying that I think it was very brave of Lily to change her sound in music and even though I think another ska-pop album would have been great, I think the new sound has proved to be successful and I respect Lily for doing such thing. I also want to say that this is the best album I’ve heard since Alright, Still. It’s very rarely that I hear an album and I like every song on that album. It’s very often that I find an artist that I think has alot of potential to make a decent album and then I’m not that impressed because I only actually like three or four songs on it. However, this album is the complete oppisite and I do infact love every god damn song on the album. Overall, I think Lily has made another amazing album and I’ll be pretty surprised if this album doesn’t do as well as I think it should in the charts. As for the favourites, Back To The Start, Not Fair and Never Gonna Happen are solid and I f*cking love these songs especially. I think Back To The Start is potentially the best song of Lily’s and could well be one of the best songs I’ve ever heard.

I give the album 5 stars.
