Lily Allen has been confirmed to headline the radio’s number one summer festival, Radio One’s Big Weekend 2009.

Along side Lily Allen, Kasabian and Franz Ferdinand have been added to the line up for Radio 1′s Big Weekend.

White Lies, Basement Jaxx and Gossip have also joined the bill for the event, which will take place in Swindon’s Lydiard Park from May 9-10.

Other new acts include The Enemy, The Wombats, Friendly Fires and Alesha Dixon.

Jack Penate, Ne-Yo and Ladyhawke will also perform.

Big Weekend, which is the UK’s biggest free ticketed music festival, will host music over four stages and be broadcast live on the BBC.

Snow Patrol and N-Dubz were the first acts confirmed for the event last month.

The majority of tickets for the event will be given away to local residents.

This week ‘The Fear’ is a non-mover in the UK Singles Chart at #19 whilst ‘Not Fair’ moves up a place and now sits at #11. ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ is also a non-mover in the UK Album Chart and still sits as #6 for the third week.

“Fuck You” has been confirmed to be the second single to be released from second studio album ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ in the Netherlands. Due to the amount of airplay it’s been given over the past weeks, Lily’s record label have decided to release it as the second single instead of UK hit ‘Not Fair’.

We’ve also managed to get out hands on a bad quality picture of Fuck You’s cover artwork. We’re not sure how official this is, but it seems pretty official as it’s an unseen Lily image and it fits in very well with ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’, The Fear and Not Fair’s cover designs.
