Lily Allen is a 25 year old singer-songwriter currently living in London. She is the child of actor Keith Allen and film-producer Alison owen. Lily grew up in London surrounded by alot of musical influences, which later lead to a very successful career in music.
She spent years trying to get into the music industry and finally did in 2006 when she released her debut album 
“Lily Allen’s critically acclaim double Platinum selling album It’s Not Me, It’s You has been one of the biggest UK albums this year. It has also contained some of the biggest singles of this year including Gold status selling The Fear, Not Fair and 22. In celebration of this and also in time for Christmas, Parlophone Records are releasing a special edition version of the album on CD & DVD.
The CD component features the album plus a 6 track acoustic session that Lily recorded at the beginning of this campaign. Lily’s voice is a wonder to behold and comes across so elegantly on these fantastic acoustic versions of the album tracks. There is also an acoustic cover version of Britney’s ‘Womanizer’ – a track that has gone down a storm on Lily’s live dates throughout the year. Another cover version that gets its first outing on CD is the E.L.O track Mr Blue Sky – a little rarity now available physically. At the end of the CD are two cracking remixes of The Fear and Not Fair by The Count and Style Of Eye respectively.
The DVD disc contains live footage shot at the Shepherds Bush Empire earlier this year which features mainly tracks from this album plus a few classics from the last! There is a track by track interview with Lily about It’s Not Me, It’s You and the promo videos to The Fear, Not Fair, 22 and Fuck You.”
