As some of you who have followed us for many years will know, I’ve ran multiple fansites in the past based on Amy Winehouse, and I’ve always thought of her, along with Lily, as one of my favourite artists. Amy was such a beautiful soul and will be terribly missed by me and many others, her death only confirms her legacy and her music and spirit will live on forever. I love you.

We can’t express how sorry we are for the both of you. You’ve been incredibly brave so far and we’re sure you can continue to be. You have the courage, and we know you can pull through. You’re an extremely gifted person and not just for your talent. You’re one of the kindest, most decent beings out there. Of course nobody deserves this, but especially not somebody with a heart like yours. We’re all behind you a hundred per cent and you know you can always find love and support within your fans. Don’t ever believe your goal is unachievable because you’ve proved so far with your career and all your recognition that you can do anything, we’re positive you’re going to create your dream soon enough. We wish you well and we’re all thinking of you and praying for you. Hang in there. You can beat this because you have the strength.

She’s looking forward to a five-year hiatus from her music career, and last night ( August 8 ) Lily Allen performed what is thought to be her last gig at the Big Chill Festival in Eastnor, United Kingdom.

The “Smile” songstress opted for a baggy, casual getup as she took the stage and sang through a hit-filled set for the eager crowd.

Allen stated, “Excuse my casual attire but I’m pregnant and this is called the Big Chill. I packed high heels but my boyfriend unpacked them. He told me I’m not wearing high heels on stage. So that explains the jeans and lumberjack look.”
